The Story Behind Lumi Paws Boutique

Lumi Paws Boutique began from a very personal experience. After my own dog underwent back surgery, I became deeply aware of how vulnerable dogs can feel — especially during grooming and handling. I realized that what may seem routine to us can be stressful or uncomfortable for them.

Wanting to provide the safest and most gentle care possible, I began grooming my toy poodle myself. Soon, I felt a strong desire to learn proper techniques professionally and to better understand grooming from both a technical and compassionate perspective.

This journey led me to pursue professional grooming education through QC Career School, where I developed the knowledge and skills required to provide safe, professional, and gentle grooming care. During this time, I discovered a deep passion for working with dogs and supporting their wellbeing through calm and respectful handling.

After more than 20 years working in healthcare as a therapist, helping individuals through recovery and healing, I found the same sense of fulfillment while caring for animals. My background strengthened my appreciation for anatomy, patience, comfort, and individualized care — values that guide every grooming session at Lumi Paws Boutique.

My Passion

Lumi Paws Boutique was created from a deep love for animals and a belief that grooming should be a calm, gentle, and respectful experience.

As an International Certified Groomer, my goal is to provide personalized care in a home-like environment where each dog feels safe, comfortable, and treated with patience and compassion.

I am passionate about creating a stress-free environment where grooming supports not only appearance, but also the wellbeing and happiness of every dog entrusted to my care.

My philosophy is to transform grooming into a positive experience while helping each dog look and feel their very best.
